Ok, WICKEDS now that U r in here, PLEASE read the following: I promise to keep it brief but it is EXTREMELY important:
I have noticed on more than one occasion members leaving a game, WINNERS and LOSERS who normally are saying gg/ wtg/ nice 1st & 2nd, a bit aggravated because another player in the game has said very little, if anything at all. I know from past experience we may wonder if they just don't like us or they are "snubbing" us or being antisocial... certainly NOT good sports and because WE appreciate good sportsmanship we are compelled to tell them in the lobby that their behavior was unacceptable, almost rude (in a nice way).
So far, so good - ALL on the same page except that we have only considered our own abilities and circumstances... I work with service dogs who assist some of the finest and most emotionally strong people I have ever met. They have physical challenges that may prohibit them from speaking, walking, maybe typing - but trust me they are just as capable as we are of playing an excellent game of cards and I promise U they are amongst us, reading or hearing every word. Kind, giving, loving and caring are words that all describe some of our most beloved members. Please give them the same courtesy and respect U'd give to any other Wicked. They are as worthy of a good time as anyone else who comes to Emerald Isle for pleasure and entertainment.
Let's support each other and not be so judgemental, some day we may ALL have our own cross to bear.
1, 2, 13, I don't know how many nor care... what I am saying is that we need 2 b LESS judgemental and MORE tolerant. It bothers me 2 c people come here 4 fun but leave with hurt feelings. On a final note: NO1 is perfect my friends, people make mistakes ~ often I hear "no sorries" ~ don't just say it... MEAN IT!
Whether we have a physical aliment or not...it is not a league rule...or per say against league rules that you HAVE to chat. It is....the general consenses...that is it "polite" to say gjp typ....ntp...gg at the end...but it is not a LEAGUE rule...that you have to do this. Some feel it is redundant to continually say gjp typ...and that is their right to feel that way. Mel is correct, there are some people physically unable to chat alot at the table, but whether that is the case or not...the fact is... it is not required that you chat at the table at all. If a wicked is berated for not chatting in the lobby, the person doing the berating.. will get warned, and if they continue get boxed, because it IS against league rules to attack another wicked for ANY reason. We have our chatters, and our non chatters, and yes it is sportsmanlike to say gg after a game..but it is not a rule here that you MUST do so, or is it a boxable offense. Mel is absolutely right... no one has any idea what goes on behind everyones computer screens. Not everyone is vocal about issues, or plasters their life story in an internet chat room, nor should they be required to explain themselves.
I try to have fun beside being in tour outside the tour i needed help with a player stalling game no1 listen to me i have respect until cheating come on to table boot u out 3 time u u cn lose. other then that i do say gg and all that.
I don't feel anyone has to say GG during a match or talk (type). We all have choices. I hate losing so I can see why someone would leave without saying GG. It's very natural to do. Comparing humans to animals really doesn't do justice. I have a dog who loves anyone and everyone. It also will let you know when it is unhappy. We share this behavior when we leave a game unhappy without saying GG.
Remember this is just a game and not everyone has the same attitudes. Some come to play for fun and leave. It is also not a law to say GG.
